Lockbox for Research Payments
In August 2010, the Treasurer’s Office and Post Award Management teamed up to create a new lockbox with PNC Bank for handling research related payments. Lockbox banking simplifies the collection and processing of account receivables by having payments mailed directly to a location accessible by the bank. A lockbox benefits the University by improving our internal controls over cash receipts and enables the University to receive cash as soon as the check is processed in the lockbox. All payments coming to the lockbox are to be made payable to: Temple University-Of The Commonwealth System of Higher Education.
