One of the many challenges that tourists often deal with is overcrowding, which can lead to feelings of anger or fear. A new study from School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management faculty member Xiang (Robert) Li and Karen Tan, FOX ’22, shows how tourists respond once they begin to experience these feelings.

Jonathan Howe has focused much of his research on understanding the experiences of Black student-athletes in the predominantly white spaces of historically white institutions and Division I college athletics. His latest study, “Self-Presentation and Black Male College Athletes at Historically White Institutions,” was recently published in the Sociology of Sport Journal.

Camden, New Jersey, native Haason Reddick was a standout during his time as a member of the Temple Football team. Since then, his star has only grown, and he has now helped lead the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl. According to School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management faculty member Thilo Kunkel, Reddick's strong play is set to drastically impact both his brand and earning potential.
