Research involving human and animal subjects, as well as biological and hazardous materials, requires review and approval by the appropriate ethics committee overseeing compliance with the applicable rules.
In this webinar, Research Integrity and Compliance II: Ethical and Regulatory Compliance Review of Research - Working with the I-Committees (IRB, IACUC, and IBC) at Temple, our Research Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team will introduce the requirements and processes associated with submissions to each committee, as well as tips and best practices in working effectively with the committees.

Join Jess Herzog, Partner Experience Manager at Dryad, for a tour of how the data deposit and curation process works at Dryad, and how you can use it to meet funder requirements while maintaining control over your data during the peer review and publication process. On December 17, 2024, NIH issued its updated Public Access Policy in accordance with the Nelson Memo. On April 30, 2025, the NIH announced that the 2024 Public Access Policy is effective for manuscripts accepted for publication on or after July 1, 2025. The updated NIH Public Access Policy requires scientists to submit final peer-reviewed journal manuscripts that arise from NIH funds to PubMed Central immediately upon acceptance for publication.
