OVPR is pleased to announce Seed to Success, a Summer webinar series highlighting projects supported through OVPR's internal award programs.
The three-part series will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. on June 18, July 16 and August 20. Each session will feature Temple faculty who received OVPR internal funding through programs such as HARP, STEM, Blue Sky and I-SPARK. Presenters will share how seed funding helped advance their research, strengthen their projects and support next steps in their scholarly work.

NIH Biosketch Training: New Common Forms Requirement Effective January 2026
Effective January 25, 2026, the NIH required the use of the new Common Form format for Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending (Other) Support documentation. This webinar will cover the key requirements of the federal mandate and demonstrate the tools needed to create a compliant biosketch, including My NCBI, My Bibliography, SciENcv, and ORCID. Attendees will learn best practices for managing My Bibliography for publications, how to register for an ORCID iD and set up your ORCID record, how to link ORCID to SciENcv and eRA Commons, and how to use SciENcv to complete Common Forms.

In this webinar, Research Integrity and Compliance II: Ethical and Regulatory Compliance Review of Research - Working with the I-Committees (IRB, IACUC, and IBC) at Temple, our Research Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team will introduce the requirements and processes associated with submissions to each committee, as well as tips and best practices in working effectively with the committees.

Learn how to share and preserve your research data in one of the largest and most popular generalist repositories out there, Dryad. Join Jess Herzog, Partner Experience Manager at Dryad, for a tour of how the data deposit and curation process works at Dryad, and how you can use it to meet funder requirements while maintaining control over your data during the peer review and publication process. Many deposits to Dryad are free to Temple researchers through our membership in Dryad and staff from Temple Libraries will be on hand to answer questions along with our guest from Dryad.
