Temple University offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to work directly with leading researchers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math disciplines. The Office of the Vice President for Research is invested in ensuring that all students are kept abreast and up to date of the various research internships and other opportunities offered to students in furtherance of pursuing their education.

Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) Mini Semester Program
BNL is hosting a mini semester program for Underrepresented Minorities (URM's) in Science. This virtual event will be held January 4-8, 2021.  Application requirements can be found here. (Deadline to apply Novemver 23, 2020)

Department of Defense (DoD) SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program
The SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program was established as a concentrated effort to enhance the Department of Defense (DoD) workforce with talented, innovative and brilliant scientists, engineers and researchers. For over a decade, SMART Scholars have been working within labs and agencies of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Additional DoD to support the warfighter and create an impact to secure our nationThe SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program was established as a concentrated effort to enhance the Department of Defense (DoD) workforce with talented, innovative and brilliant scientists, engineers and researchers.
